RSGx are excited to announce we are working on the Brisbane Metro project and have been awarded the Tunnel Combined Mechanical Scope (Low Point Sump and MVAC). This is in addition to the previously awarded Electrical, ITS and PA installation works.
This makes RSGx the key mechanical, electrical and plumbing contractor on the project. Our scope includes the detailed design, manufacture, testing, supply, installation and commissioning of the MVAC and Sump Systems within the Brisbane Metro Project. A total of 5 pumps are included in the Adelaide St Tunnel sump system and all plant rooms and egress pathways within the Brisbane Metro project contain MVAC, which makes the scope of critical importance to the successful delivery of the project.
RSGx Regional Manager for QLD, Dan Kibble said “Building upon our current footprint in the transport infrastructure sector in Brisbane, RSGx is delighted with this latest contract award. We are currently working on other high-profile projects in South East Qld and with this latest award, we are in the fortunate position to continue to grow our engineering and trade teams. Trusted to deliver this scope, we are enhancing our reputation and capability in delivering transport infrastructure projects in Southeast Queensland. We look forward to working with the Brisbane Metro team on this scope.”
RSGx Manager Mechanical, Dave Schagen said, “It’s exciting to put our specialist mechanical engineering, construction and various technologies to work to provide quality solutions for the project. It’s a great platform to showcase our growing Mechanical capability and RSGx’s capability as a whole to provide complete M&E package support for our valued clients.”
