RSGx are excited to announce that we have been awarded a Contract for the construction of the Kanyirri substation.

‍The substation will be located just south of South Hedland. It is an integral part of Stage 3 (North Star to Port Hedland; 97km, 220kV single circuit) of the Pilbara Transmission Project.

‍The scope of work will include

  • The supply, fabrication, installation and testing of the 220/66/22kV KAN Substation
  • Installation and testing works at thePrincipal’s North Star Junction substation
  • Construction, brownfields tie-in and testing of a 66 kV transmission cable circuit from KAN substation to the Principal’s existing 66kV overhead powerline

The project is expected to be completed by mid 2023.
