The Position:
Due to continued growth, the Allied Power team in Western Australia have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a rapidly expanding organization who are currently engaged on a number of projects across the mining and oil and gas sectors.

This is ideally a FIFO role with an attractive 2:1 roster and remuneration package.
Duties will include:
- Ensuring all HSEQ requirements are implemented and complied with on site
- Establish project budget and manage forecast expenditure to achieve completion within budget.
- Managing the project from initial site setup to completion
- Coordinating supplier and subcontractor engagement and contracts
- Ensuring effective cost control and efficient running of the project
- Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
- Liaising closely with the client and ensuring project runs to program
- Overseeing all operations on site
- Managing and maintaining positive working relationships with the client, project team, suppliers and subcontractors
Successful candidates will possess:
Essential:
- Strong commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
- Extensive experience in the delivery of OHPL projects
- Extensive experience in all aspects of on-site construction
- Training and experience in managing on-site safety and personnel issues
- High focus on ensuring that all aspects of the project is performed safely
- Proven project experience and ability to work autonomously
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Well-developed negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and manage project teams
Highly desirable:
- Ability to interpret and follow design models and engineering drawings
- Demonstrated knowledge of mining construction practices and procedures
- Remote project and FIFO experience
