PROJECT OVERVIEW
NorthConnex, the longest and deepest road tunnel in Australia, is a nine-kilometre tunnel that will link the M1 Pacific Motorway at Wahroonga to the Hills M2 Motorway at West Pennant Hills.
SCOPE OF WORK
RSGx focused on ensuring that each link from one powered device to the other powered devices were connected correctly, with multiple patches required for many of these devices.
During the commissioning phase, power is unreliable and some critical equipment is still yet to be installed, so temporary by-passes and fault finding activities are frequently required.
There were upwards of 757 network links required to be commissioned by the team.
